Washington my Love-Christmas Recap

Christmas Sharpen Exposure

Another good Christmas can now be put in the books. It consisted of early morning text messages wishing Merry Christmas, and then the traditional sneaking out into the living room to get a quick peak at what is in the stockings before everyone wakes up. Yes, I'm very sneaky.

After breakfast was made, the stockings were looked through along with some presents opened. When breakfast was done the rest of the presents were opened. I got my traditional camel, which made me really happy. I love my collection.

I really enjoyed my other presents as well.

What really made this a special day was that I had the opportunity to talk to my brother Chase, who is currently down in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is serving a full time mission there for our church. I miss him so much, and was having a hard time keeping my emotions in check. I was so grateful I had the opportunity to talk to him. He sounded so different; a very good different. He sounded happy, and from the recent pictures we have of him, he looks happy. I am so proud of him for making this decision to serve the Lord. It has been tough not being able to keep close contact with him, but I am so glad we were able to call him on Christmas.

This was a very relaxed day, and from the next few pictures you can tell there was quite a bit of napping going on.

Later we went up to my grandmas to spend the rest of the day there for dinner and to open more presents.

I love my family so much, and I love getting together with all of my extended family. We have some good times. Here's what went on.

  • Presents were passed and opened
  • Delicious food was prepared,
  • Uncle Vince lost at the game and had to have make up applied to him
  • Napping was constantly done
  • Catching up with relatives that have not been seen in a long time

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I know I did.
